Nintendo launched its Japanese Mario Party 10 site February 13, 2015, but seemed to forget some of the featured amiibo had yet to be announced.

Images from the site for the upcoming party game showed new designs for Donkey Kong, Rosalina, and Wario. The three new designs, thankfully, all seem devoid of any translucent stands supporting their figures.

Mario Party 10 Lineup

Wario, unlike his Smash Bros. costume, sports his classic purple overalls, green elf shoes, white gloves, and yellow t-shirt. Rosalina's only stand out difference is her missing Smash partner Luma. Donkey Kong shows his triumphant chest beating, and stands upright.

Interesting to speculate is if this new amiibo line up will turn into as mad a dash as the Super Smash Bros. line up became, with scalpers buying up multiple figurines to sell on the internet.

Other amiibo have already been announced for the Mario Party 10 lineup, including Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, Toad, and Yoshi.

Mario Party 10 releases for the Wii U March 12, 2015. The game features an asymmetrical play style, called Bowser Mode. In Bowser Mode, four players play as normal, but a fifth player controls Bower with the gamepad, and min games exclusive to Bower Mode are played. The standard party mode is also available with the standard four player mini games. In addition to this, amiibo functionality will be introduced for the first time in the Mario Party series with amiibo Party. In this mode, players can scan in certain amiibo (those with playable characters in the game) and play on small boards designed for those characters.

amiibo characters from the Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3ds can be used for Mario Party 10, provided they correspond to a character in the game (the Smash Bros Mario works for the Mario Party 10 Mario, Smash Luigi for Mario Party 10 Luigi, so on and so forth.)

What do you think of the new designs? If you're an ami-bro, are you planning on picking up one, two, or all of the Mario Party lineup? (who are we kidding of course you are). Do any stand out to you? Let us know in the comments below!
