Today, Microsoft unveiled the March Games With Gold for 2020, which includes Batman: The Enemy Within - The Complete Season, Shantae: Half-Genie Hero, Castlevania 2: Lords of Shadow 2, and Sonic Generations.

All four games combine for around $95 in value, which is always cool to hear, and 4100 Gamerscore, if you happen to be one of those strange people that care about things like that.

Batman: The Enemy Within's entire season received an 81 on OpenCritic, with 75% of critics recommending it. As it is a Telltales title, you probably know what to expect: an interactive story where you solve puzzles and navigate infuriating combat scenarios. Fans of the genre have (probably) already played it, but if you've never bothered this is a decent title to become the Batman with.

Shantae: Half-Genie Hero is a Kickstarted title that's actually a great experience. Receiving a 81 overall score and with 84% of critics recommending it on OpenCritic, this is a 2.5D platformer that fans of the genre should give a go... if they don't already own it, of course.

Castlevania 2: Lords of Shadow 2 was received just as awkwardly as its name. Receiving a 61 overall score and with a paltry 8% of critics recommending it on OpenCritic, this is a Castlevania title that fans either ignored or played through because they couldn't believe that the same developer that made the excellent Castlevania: Lords of Shadow would then go on to create such a mediocre title.

Last but not least, Sonic Generations zooms onto March 2020's Games With Gold. With a 77 overall score on MetaCritic (due to age, Sonic Generations isn't on OpenCritic), players and critics alike applauded the fact that they could go fast and not want to jump off a cliff after doing so. Yes, good Sonic titles do appear occasionally, if only to give Sonic fans hope before... dashing them once again.
