If you haven't yet played Maneater, you've missed out on a pretty cool game. No, this isn't about the hit 1982 song from Hall & Oates; rather, Maneater is a game that's all about playing a massive shark that preys on people in an open-world environment. That's not to say there aren't some challenges, mind — not everyone is going to let you chomp them to bits without fighting back!
Maneater has already been out on PC (via the Epic Games Store), PlayStation, and Xbox — now, it's all set to arrive on new platforms next week!
When is the Maneater Steam Release Date?
The Maneater Steam Release Date is May 25, 2021. You can't pre-purchase the game on that platform just yet, but you can add it to your wishlist on Steam; it will be available for purchase at the price of $39.99 or your regional equivalent.
When is the Maneater Nintendo Switch Release Date?
The Maneater Nintendo Switch release date will also be May 25, 2021; you can pre-purchase the game on the Nintendo eShop for $39.99 or your regional equivalent right now. Prefer a physical version? You can also pre-order the Maneater Nintendo Switch physical release on Amazon at the same price.
Also Arriving: Maneater Xbox Game Pass Debut
The Maneater Steam and Nintendo Switch release won't be the only new way to play the game — as today's announcement shows, the Maneater Xbox Game Pass release will also be arriving on May 25, 2021. The game will be available on Game Pass for PC and consoles for a period of six months.
If you'd prefer to get Maneater on Xbox or PC, your best bet might be to sign up for Xbox Game Pass if you haven't already. Otherwise, you can buy Maneater via its official website; you'll be able to enjoy it on new platforms on May 25, 2021.
