Looking for a mod that lets you manage a team of multiple followers while being easy on your computer? Nether's Follower Framework is a new mod for Skyrim that provides all of that along with a wide selection of quality-of-life functions.

Created by Netherworks, the Follower Framework was designed with four goals in mind: be compatible with as many other mods as possible, provide familiar yet interesting companion features, make preferences optional and able to be undone, and offer all these features while being resource-friendly and script-engine light. The mod can be used with just about any follower you can find in Skyrim, whether they be one of the game's races or an animal companion, but it also allows players to import custom followers and use them, with some exceptions listed on the mod page.

The full list of what the mod allows can be found on its page, but its main feature is the ability to have up to ten followers with you. In addition, there's a whole laundry list of extra features in the mod designed to make followers more useful. If your followers have trouble keeping up with you, you can give them a movement speed buff or give yourself an on-demand ability to simply teleport followers to you. You can make home base areas for your followers to relax at, maybe play some music, when they aren't in your party. It's also possible to trade your followers spell books to teach them new magic spells to make your magical followers better during combat. The mod also makes it a lot easier to understand your followers' strengths and weaknesses with the ability to see their stats, spells, perks, and abilities.

Nether's Follower Framework can be downloaded here on Nexus Mods. It requires the Dawnguard DLC, SkyUI, and SKSE64. Meanwhile, the Anniversary Edition of Skyrim is releasing on November 11th.
