A brand-new piece of Luigi's Mansion 3 DLC has been announced — the Multiplayer Pack.
If you're not terribly familiar with the Luigi's Mansion games, they're basically about Mario's taller (and much cooler) brother hunting ghosts using a vacuum cleaner. That sounds kind of nuts until you think about the fact that they live in a world with sapient mushroom people and fire-breathing dinosaur dictators.
The Luigi's Mansion 3 DLC is called the Multiplayer Pack and will be made available in two distinct parts. Part 1 is going to feature four items of interest as noted on the game's official website:
- Three new minigames for multiplayer ScreamPark mode
- Six new Themed Ghosts
- Three new outfits for Luigi
- Three new floor themes in co-op ScarScraper mode
While the new outfits are certainly a nice touch, people are probably much more interested in the actual content that's coming. As you can see, this DLC largely has a focus on multiplayer gameplay, so you're probably out of luck if you were hoping for some more content in that area.

This new DLC content is pretty sweet, and players can also score a cool in-game bonus when they purchase the DLC. Players who purchase the Multiplayer Pack will receive the "Flashlight Type P" which has a special Polterpup image instead of a boring white circle. Because hey, if you're gonna have a flashlight to ward off spooky ghosts, it may as well be adorable as heck.
