The Lost Words release date has been announced by developer Modus Games, but that's not all — they're also making the game a Stadia exclusive, locking down this interesting fantasy platformer on Google's game streaming console for a period of one year.

Check out the Lost Words: Beyond the Page PAX Gameplay Spotlight trailer to get a feel for what this upcoming game is all about:

In Lost Words: Beyond the Page, players get to explore a young girl's diary through the medium of a puzzle platformer. You'll not only jump around on the words to solve puzzles; you'll also dive into fantasy land and explore her imagination!

The story of Lost Words was written by Rhianna Pratchett, daughter of Terry Pratchett. She also happens to have quite a few video game writing credits to her name including Heavenly SwordMirror's Edge, and the most recent revivals of Thief and Tomb Raider (among other games).

If you're one of the 27 people who own a Stadia, you'll be happy to hear that the Lost Words release date is less than a month away! It's all set to launch on Google Stadia on March 27, 2020.

As for the rest of us, the game will later make its way to PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch after one year. For now, you can add Lost Words: Beyond the Page to your wishlist on Steam.
