A new announcement from Klaus and Olaf at Zoink Games was revealed at EA Play 2020. Zoink has always planned to create strange and interesting worlds their next game is a bit darker though. This new game is called Lost in Random.
Even is the protagonist, who adventures with a companion dice called Dicey. Randomness is feared in this world with every decision always in control. Even learns to be able to embrace randomness with the help of Dicey. There is still a long time until you will be able to play Lost in Random but a trailer was shown of what Zoink has so far.
The trailer showed that the world is being controlled by a single dice, but that Dicey has the power to change fate in anyone's favor. The gameplay is shown to be a third-person action-adventure with Even swinging around a mace and pinging enemies from afar with a slingshot.
Zoink in the past has released titles like Fe and Ghost Giant. While we might be waiting for a while be sure to head over to the Zoink Studios official website to get further updates on their titles. Klaus Lyngeled, CEO and Game Director of Zoink had the following to say on the announcement of Lost in Random.
Everyone can relate to feeling helpless about juggling all the randomness and chaos that occurs in their life. With Lost in Random, we hope to transport our players to an alternate world where they can find power in that randomness.
No more information was revealed about this title other than players will have to wait until 2021 to get their hands on Lost in Random. When the game does release it will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via both Steam and Origin.
What do you think of Lost in Random? Are you interested in seeing how chance can come to a world like this? Or does just getting a chance to swing a mace sound like a good plan to you?
