A full Lords and Villeins release date has been confirmed. The feudal colony sim-come-city builder is on its way out of Early Access and into the wide, wide world on November 10th, so if you've been looking for a more light-hearted take on what can sometimes be a brutal genre, you've come to the right place.
Lords and Villeins was originally announced back in March of last year and released in Early Access that September. That means the game will have spent just over a year in Early Access before saddling up its steed and getting ready to venture out into a full release.
Of course, the 1.0 release for Lords and Villeins isn't arriving empty-handed; it has many gifts for its esteemed, noble players. These include the ability to assemble a High Council, the chance to perform tax evasion (Turnip Boy will be pleased), and extra gameplay modules to help you "heavily customize" your gameplay experience, according to developer Honestly Games.
Other new things coming on the full Lords and Villeins release date include a new system that allows nobles to stage coups and peasants to revolt, as well as the chance to hire your very own spy to assassinate your rivals (or just gather info about them if you're squeamish). The game will also have full localization for languages like Simplified Chinese, German, and French, and you'll be able to unlock Steam achievements too. It's going to be a very different game from when it launched, so make sure to take a look at it if it's been a while since you fired this one up.
Lords and Villeins launches for PC via Steam on November 10th. If you're a fan of colony sims like RimWorld or Clanfolk, then this one should definitely be on your radar. We'll bring you more on Lords and Villeins, as well as all things city builder, as soon as we get it.
