Loop Hero update 1.1 is in beta and adds in-expedition saves, expedition and flight speed sliders, along with some other bug fixes and other improvements. The biggest addition is the aforementioned in-expedition saves, which means players will be able to escape to your camp during battles. Players will still lose as much as they would if they died, but now they don't die, which is nice because options are nice to have.

You'll also be able to use a debug retreat or backup loading, which means that if you hold the "load" / "continue" button in the main menu you'll get two new buttons - "debug retreat" and "load backup". The first option will give players the option to abandon the expedition on that save and return to camp. You'll lose all of your resources from the expedition, so it's best only to use it for emergencies. The load backup option is, well, a backup, and it'll load a previous version of the camp.

Other cool additions include the Expedition and Speed Flight Sliders, where it goes from 1x to 4x instead of 1x-2x switch. There's also an option to change the fight speed in the options menu, but the game is balanced around the default 1x speed, so you might find yourself in a hairy situation due to the increased speed. There's also the option to switch the card, item, and trait deck now, and you can now have up to 4 of them.
