Boss Key has detailed a new update which has arrived in '80s battle royale romp Radical Heights. As well as addressing the usual bug fixes and stability tweaks, the update also brings with it new content.

First off, players can now perform tricks on their bikes while riding in matches. Players can now control the bike while it is in the air, allowing them to execute back-flips, 360 spins, and other tricks. A new fix has also been applied to the BMX bike, in which players who manage to land on their faces while riding will be knocked off of the bike, rather than awkwardly sticking to the ground like they were prone to do previously.

Next up, a variety of sunglasses have been added to the game, allowing you to show off your inner Tom Cruise. There are new customization options in the form of Kill Cards, which can be decorated with borders, backgrounds and icons. Check them out below:

The new update adds a new weapon too. The FAL machine gun can now be picked up and used in the game and is a great mid to long range machine gun. With Radical Heights being at such an early state development-wise, this first patch adds a good amount of quality of life tweaks. Some of these tweaks include an increase in framerate, end of match display screens, the addition of South American servers and improvements to game show event announcer VO. Head over to the post for full details on the update.

Radical Heights launched April 10 into what developer Boss Key has described as "X-TREME Early Access", dropping players into a battle royale fight to the death, all with a heavy '80s theme throughout. The set up is that each match is framed as a gameshow, with an announcer and everything, with players taking on the role of contestants.
