Lima Salty 4 Results

Lima Salty 4 is among the last several Latin America regional events for Capcom Pro Tour. As such, a lot of more obscure, but talented players in the area have registered for the event to hopefully score the points necessary for Capcom Cup qualification as the year slowly comes to a close and regional events become fewer.

In addition to Street Fighter V, Lima Salty 4 featured tournaments for The King of Fighters XIV, Tekken 7, and Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2. Streaming was held on The Backyard Peru Twitch channel. As usual, players will be listed in “[sponsor/team name] | [player name] [[characters used]]” format. Lima Salty 4 did not use Smash.gg to organize brackets, but they did use we Challonge for them, so they can be viewed here.

Brolynho takes the win, cementing his status as possibly the most consistent Latin American player so far this year. He gains 160 CPT points, pushing him up seven places in the leaderboards and landing him at 16^th overall. Moise's second place finish grants him 100 CPT points, which boosts him a very favorable 16 places, where he sits tied at 49^th overall with Alex Myers. None of the remaining top 8 players here are within the top 50 of the CPT leaderboards, meaning that it's unlikely for any of them to reach qualification unless they travel to global premieres.
