 Life is Strange Remastered Collection

Square Enix and Deck9's Life is Strange team announced today a Life is Strange Remastered Collection delay, meaning that you'll need to wait longer to play these games all cleaned and prettied up.

Why was the Life is Strange Remastered Collection delayed?

In their announcement post, the Life is Strange team said that this was being done to avoid putting excessive pressure on the team while there is also the worldwide pandemic ongoing with simultaneous releases of multiple products. This was alongside them confirming that the Life is Strange: True Colors release date will be on September 10th, and that the new Life is Strange Remastered Collection release date will be in early 2022. Here is the portion of their statement referring to the Life is Strange Remastered Collection delay:

However, due to the ongoing challenges of the worldwide pandemic, we want to alleviate any additional pressure on the Life is Strange team by giving more time between the release of Life is Strange: True Colors, and Life is Strange Remastered Collection.

For this reason, we have made the difficult decision to delay the release of the Life is Strange: Remastered Collection for all platforms – PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Stadia, and Switch – until Early 2022. We hope you understand.

The Life is Strange: True Colors Ultimate Edition still grants entitlement to the two Life is Strange Remastered Collection games, which will now be available on their new release date in early 2022.
Thank you for your patience and overwhelming support!

Life is Strange: Wavelengths Release Date Announced

Formerly assumed to be releasing alongside Life is Strange: True Colors on September 10th, for Digital Deluxe and Ultimate Edition owners, Deck9 today announced that Life is Strange: Wavelengths, a prequel DLC starring Steph Gingrich will be releasing on September 30th. This standalone story DLC takes place in the year before Alex, the main character of Life is Strange: True Colors arrives in Haven Springs. Playing as Steph you'll be a new radio show host for KRCT, Haven's only radio station. You'll get to choose records for the playlist, 'ad lib' through local commercials, and help Steph compose an original song as well as partake in other activities around Haven Springs like GMing a tabletop RPG.

The Life is Strange Remastered Collection will be releasing in Early 2022, while the Life is Strange: True Colors release date remains September 10th.
