Life Is Strange Before the Storm (49)

Episode 2 of Life is Strange: Before the Stormthe prequel to DONTNOD Entertainment's adventure game Life is Strange, will be releasing on October 19, 2017, according to a news post on the game's Steam Community page.

Life is Strange: Before the Storm is a three-part standalone game set three years before the events of Life Is Strange. Players take on the role of Chloe Price, the blue-haired friend of the first game's protagonist Max Caulfield. New features of the game include the ability to change your clothes (which provokes different reactions depending on what you're wearing) and the "Backtalk" system where you take a chance at Chloe's particular brand of venomous language being used to get her way in a conversation. A trailer for the second episode was released alongside the announcement:

In Episode 2, Chloe and Rachel are growing increasingly closer as friends while their relationships with their respective families continue to decline. The pair entertains the idea of running away from Arcadia Bay altogether (though this doesn't seem very likely considering the events in the first game). Meanwhile, local drug dealer Frank Bowers convinces Chloe to run an errand for him at Blackwell Academy in order to square up a debt between the two of them - a seemingly simple job that puts her in a dangerous position and exposes the darker side of Arcadia Bay.

The second of three episodes of Life Is Strange: Before the Storm releases on October 19, 2017.
