Lies of P has received a bevy of new announcements, with its developers revealing a new trailer and demo in addition to a firm release date for the title.
Shown off via the annual Summer Game Fest event and livestream, the reveals kicked off with another glimpse at the upcoming Souls-like via a new trailer. The lengthy teaser includes everything from cutscene snippets showing off NPCs to fresh bits of gameplay centered around the protagonists different weapons.

Alongside this came the reveal that the game now has a public demo available for anyone to check out. The demo covers the first two chapters of the game, and is available on all platforms the game is intended to release on.
The biggest reveal of all, however, was that Lies of P is set to release on Sept. 19 across PlayStation consoles, Xbox Consoles, and PC.
“We’re beyond excited to announce that Lies of P will launch September 19th on console and PC and that fans everywhere can play the demo now,” Jiwon Choi, Lies of P's Project Director, said in a press release made available ahead of the announcement. “We hope the experience delivers on our creative approach to the Souls-like genre and interpretation of the Pinocchio lore– and looking forward to seeing the response from our incredible community.”
Pre-orders are also open, with those who buy their copy early able to nab everything from a digital soundtrack to a special cosmetic outfit for the protagonist. Customers who pre-purchase a physical edition will likewise receive a special steelbook case and a 92-page hardcover artbook.
