Let's Build a Zoo released back in November of last year and did very well for itself, selling over 100,000 units. Due to its success, there's a new DLC, Dinosaur Island, that's coming very soon: May 23rd, 2022 to be exact. It's releasing on both Steam and the Epic Store for $9.99 / £7.19 / 8,19€. Interestingly, only 1% of Let's Build a Zoo sales came from the Epic Games Store, so we'll have to see if the discrepancy remains that large once Dinosaur Island is released.
As for the DLC, your team has developed technology to clone dinosaurs from fossils, and a new park on a remote island has been built to house the recreated biological titans. The zoo will also be open to the public to come and check out the 50 new creatures that can be resurrected, displayed, and cared for. Players can play through a brand new campaign, use new enclosure types, unlock a new research tree, and use new shops and decorations that are available.
There's rocky paths, active volcanos, giant trees, and dino-egg food shops that can make your zoo look like something from the Jurassic Period. With the content already available in Let's Build a Zoo and what's coming in Dinosaur Island, players will soon be able to create over 10 million different animal variants, which should be enough to satisfy every mad scientist out there. After all, the world's first Capysaurus and Donkey-Ceratops won't be creating itself, eh?
