The Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga playercount on Steam is pretty darn good. It's so good, in fact, that it beat the next most-popular Lego game by nearly 1,400%.
Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is arguably the most ambitious Lego crossover game to date. It features over 300 playable characters in an epic saga that aims to cover all nine core Star Wars movies. Unfortunately, this project was faced with several delays until it finally locked in its release date earlier this year. Now, the numbers are in: The Skywalker Saga is the most popular Lego game on Steam by a very wide margin.
Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Playercount Shows a Roaring Success
As VGC reports, the Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga playercount peaked at 82,517 yesterday as shown on SteamDB. That's pretty good, but it gets much more impressive when you compare it to the peak playercounts of other Lego games.
The next most popular Lego game was Lego Marvel Super Heroes; as SteamDB shows, it hit a lifetime peak playercount of 5,953 players. That's fairly solid in its own right, but The Skywalker Saga is, quite literally, an order of magnitude higher. 1386.14% higher, to be precise.
Most of the other Lego game releases over the last few years have hit max playercounts roughly in the range of 2,000 to 5,000 players at their peak. Even the crossovers with The Lord of the Rings weren't able to reach these heights.
Somewhat unsurprisingly, it looks like cramming hundreds of characters and content representing all nine Star Wars movies into a single package has proven to be wildly successful. You can join in on the fun by buying Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga for PC and consoles via its official website starting at the price of $49.99 or your regional equivalent.
