Lego Builder's Journey

LEGO Builder’s Journey Creative Mode has just been released, which means the under-the-radar LEGO title has a lot more for players to do. In the new mode, players will be able to build their own models and scenes with a curated selection of LEGO bricks. To start, there are several available themes and options for building plates to start out with. They range from the bottom half of a car, or something that's more destroyed and meant to conjure your imagination. I'm looking forward to seeing some weird Frankenstein creations that would look horrifying in any other context but in LEGO.

The controls and interface have been kept as simple as possible. When players open the brick bin there's a curated selection of bricks to build with. When a brick is placed, it will automatically give you another one in the same shape and color, which is ideal for building anything symmetrical. If players don't want to do that and open the bin again, they'll get a new selection of bricks. There's also a provided paint bucket so that players can pour paint over the bricks to change their color.

Once players are done with their creations they'll be able to open the photo mode. In it, players can adjust the lighting and viewing angle before taking a screenshot and sharing it with friends and people online for some of that sweet karma.
