Today NIS America released a new trailer of the western localization of Nihon Falcom's JRPG The Legend of Heroes: Trails Into Reverie.
The trailer focuses on the game's rich cast, and it's rather important considering that The Legend of Heroes: Trails Into Reverie pretty much serves as the point of rejoining between the Crossbell Arc and the Erebonia Arc.
Due to that, we get to see Lloyd Bannings and the Special Support Section and the Class VII band led by Rean Schwarzer, on top of a new group of characters led by the masked antihero C.
Of course, these new characters will be new only to those who have followed exclusively the western releases of the series, since we're behind by approximately three years and Japan is already deep into the Calvard Arc with Kuro no Kiseki and Kuro no Kiseki II: Crimson Sin, which released in 2021 and 2022, while we still don't know when we'll get them.
You can watch the trailer below.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails Into Reverie releases for PS5, PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch on July 7, 2023.
If you're unfamiliar with the game, here's what you can expect:
"A Trio of Trails: Experience three different story arcs and switch between them any time with the Crossroads system. Plus, discover side episodes to fully flesh out the characters and world of Zemuria.
Reverie into Reality: Enter the True Reverie Corridor, which allows you to encounter and recruit new characters from across Zemuria, enter randomly generated dungeons to test your mettle, and play a variety of mini games.
Paragons of Combat: Utilize Arts, Brave Orders, and cunning tactics to prevail in battle. Master the new United Front system and harness the power of your entire team to decimate enemies while empowering yourself."
