The latest Halo: Master Chief Collection Flight has been extended to next Monday, March 15 at 10 AM Pacific Time as the developers felt that players didn't have enough time to go through the whole update. This means there's more time for those who are part of the flight, or those who want to join in, to experience the new additions to Halo: Master Chief Collection.
What's in the new Halo: Master Chief Collection flight?
As for the update, it includes two maps from Halo Online added to Halo 3, Season 6 customization content, FOV Slider support for all Xbox One consoles, and more. Probably the most important addition to this update is the new "Exchange", which is where players will be able to redeem unused season points from new content and bundles. "Familiar favorites" may pop up from time to time, so if you're interested you'll have to keep an eye on the Exchange to see what pops up. The items will change from week to week, so it won't have to be a daily check, which is good.

As for other things that are in this latest Flight, the FOV slider will no longer be locked when Xbox Series X|S devices are set to 120hz. There are double key bindings now, there's mouse & keyboard support for consoles, which is great news and hopefully should also be the case for Halo Infinite on launch. There are now also advanced audio options, Weapon Display Offsets to view model position customization options, and additional bug fixes.
