If you dig the spooky, gothic vibe from games such as Bloodborne, you'll want to keep an eye out for The Last Faith -- and there's some fresh footage to share!

This new trailer showcases impressive visuals and a brooding atmosphere that is sure to please fans of all things Grimdark. We get a look at plenty of fearsome foes such as zombie-like enemies, giant skeletons, and more. The Last Faith boasts a variety of different weapons to suit players' needs, which will surely come in handy when facing some of its boss characters. As seen in the footage, the player character -- Eric -- is able to buff his weapons with elemental enhancements that are used to effectively counter different types of enemies. There's even a range of guns, spells, and more, all of which should provide players with plenty of choices when tackling this dark Metroidvania and Soulslike's bosses and other threats. This trailer ends with a fight with a hulking, demonic bat that looks positively terrifying.

The Last Faith comes from developers Kumi Souls Games and is published by PlayStack London, and is expected to launch this year on Steam, Nintendo Switch, and all Xbox and PlayStation platforms. After well-surpassing its goal on Kickstarter in 2020, plenty of backers will be pleased to get their hands on this hauntingly gorgeous after several years of waiting. Kumi Souls Games' previous work is an Android title called Ninja Knight, so it appears that The Last Faith will be their console debut.

If you're interested in wishlisting The Last Faith, take a look at the game's Steam page. For more E3 2022 announcements, be sure to stay tuned on TechRaptor!
