As we reported last week, the Epic Games Store is extending its weekly free game giveaway program, which went into effect during the Epic Mega Sale, which ended last week. Up until the Mega Sale, the storefront was giving games away on a bi-weekly basis, but now it promises to keep giving a free game away every week until the end of the year. This week's free game is Rebel Galaxy, as we reported last week, and the next free game, which will be available next Thursday, will be Last Day of June.
Last Day of June is the second game by Italian developer Ovosonico, with their debut title being the sidescrolling platformer Murasaki Baby, a PlayStation Vita game. Last Day of June is an adventure puzzle game where you will join Carl and June on what begins as a magical outing to their favorite spot. Then, you will try to unlock the sequence of events that could save the day in a cinematic adventure experience that will compel you to ask yourself: "What would I do to save the one I love?" This is an interactive tale about love and loss, and it should appeal to adventure gamers who appreciate a mature story. So stay tuned by next week so you can get your copy of the game for free.
Right now, you can grab a copy of Rebel Galaxy, which as we noted in our article last week, is a great naval-style space combat simulator, which plays somewhat like EVE Online, except in single-player mode. Our review gave the game a 9.5/10 score, which is about as high a score as a game can get at TechRaptor, so if you have any hesitation on whether to get this game for free, please reconsider and head over to the Epic Games Store and grab your copy.
