The Last Campfire trailer shows off a small ember searching for its way home. In this game, you'll explore the world, discover weird creatures, and delve into mysterious ruins. The game is being developed by Hello Games and the team behind LostWinds. While Hello Games is known for its bigger titles such as No Man's Sky they're marketing this game as a Hello Games Short. The purpose of this approach is to allow their developers to flex their creativity and tell stories that they want to tell.

The trailer shows the ember exploring the world and reaching a campfire, where it seems other embers were previously but were put out. As the Ember solves puzzles and obtains more flames he's able to start bringing life back to the world. Will the Ember be able to rescue all of its friends?

Last Campfire was first announced almost two years ago in December 2018 where it was shown off at The Game Awards. While there was no definitive date for release shown in this new trailer it has been confirmed that The Last Campfire will be releasing for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via the Epic Game Store Summer 2020. It's likely we'll be hearing more about this title shortly.
