There may just be a Lady Gaga Fortnite concert in the works, and though nothing is concrete as of yet, there are quite a few signs that point to the event via leaks.
@FNLeaksAndInfo on Twitter, who is known for posting leaks centered around the extremely popular game Fortnite, has posted a leak that they believe to be a nod towards a Lady Gaga concert in the game. The account posted,
"Lady Gaga could be coming to Fortnite! A new collaborative emote added this update named "Jug Band" and when 4 players are involved, it sounds very similar to her hit song "Poker Face"! What do you think?!"
After this Tweet was sent out, @FNLeaksAndInfo posted yet another leak, which shows a sound clip of the new emote, which we do have to agree sounds almost identical to "Poker Face" by Lady Gaga. Now, why does it seem to be pointing in the direction of a full event? Fortnite also decided today was a good day to announce that Rainbow Royale, an in-game event that is centered on the LGBTQIA+ community, would be starting tonight at 8 pm EST. In their press release, they announced that there would be several musicians that would be participating in the event such as Janelle Monáe, Lil Nas X, Todrick Hall, King Princess, Lady Gaga, Kim Petras and other global LGBTQIA+ artists. These artists will be playing over the game's radio at this time, and we are not sure if there will be a main concert event, but it does kind of seem to be aiming that way.
Back in July 2022, we saw another leak posted by @iFireMonkey that showed off files that appear to be a stage, speakers, and a concert area on the Fortnite island. Again, though none of this is definite at this time, there are several arrows pointing in the direction of a concert even within the game at some point this year. There have been other concert events in Fortnite before, as the masses piled into the game for a Travis Scott concert that was performed in 2020.
