The Dead or Alive 6 release date just got a little further away. Koei Tecmo has announced via a press release that they're pushing it back by a couple of weeks in order to further polish and balance the upcoming sixth core entry in the Dead or Alive franchise.
Dead or Alive 6 was originally announced around the time of E3 2018. The next entry in the franchise certainly looks as impressive as always and a release date of March 15, 2019, was announced by the developers in September of last year. Unfortunately, the Dead or Alive 6 release date has now been moved back to March. Check out the game's reveal trailer to get a feel for what they're going for with Dead or Alive 6:
The new Dead or Alive 6 release date is March 1, 2019. This means that the game is going to be releasing two weeks later than originally expected. Director/Producer Yohei Shimbori had a statement to make regarding the delay along with an apology to fans:
"The title's development is already near complete; however, we would like to take more time to further polish its balance, gameplay, and expressivity. In return for your patience, we commit to bringing you the best DEAD OR ALIVE gaming experience. I am truly sorry for the inconvenience caused by the release delay of DEAD OR ALIVE 6." - Dead or Alive 6 Director and Producer Yohei ShimboriDead or Alive 6 is now expected to launch for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam on March 1, 2019. You can pre-order the game for the Xbox One at the Microsoft Store and the PlayStation 4 at the PlayStation Store for $59.99 or your regional equivalent. As for PC players, you can add it to your wishlist on Steam.
