PQube has just announced the Kitaria Fables release date, with the ARPG and farming title coming to the PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One & Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game will be available as a physical boxed edition for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 & 5, and available as a digital version for Steam, and Xbox One and Xbox One Series X|S. All of this will be available on September 3, 2021, if you think the price is right.
As for the game itself, players will enter the world of Kitaria and do quests for their neighbors that are facing "a rising tide of darkness", which sounds pretty sinister. The game features real-time combat, exploration, and dungeoneering alongside farming for provisions and then crafting for weapons and armor. You can also create new spells, which is neat, but hopefully, it's something actually creative and not a differently-colored light show with similar abilities for each new spell.
With the world going crazy, the Empire calls you to investigate and defend the citizens of Paw Village. Hopefully, they won't be a paw-ful, amirite? Anyways, you have to go to your Uncle's home and create your new base by exploring the world and finding resources in loot to help you during the course of the game.
Kitaria Fables will also have shared/split-screen co-op along with single-player (Remote Play Together through Steam) so you'll be able to team up with a friend to "complement each other's strengths", which is a good way of saying destroy your enemies and leave no prisoners.
If you are interested in checking out Kitaria Fables, it's available for wishlisting on Steam and will be available in general for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One, and Xbox One Series X|S. The Kitaria Fables release date is September 3, 2021, so be sure to mark that on your calendar if you're ready to save Paw Village.
