Today SNK released a new trailer of its popular fighting game The King of Fighters XV, focusing on upcoming DLC characters.
We get to take a look at Shingo Yabuki, who will be the first fighter to be added within Season 2. Unlike Season 1, the second season will focus on single fighters and not teams. Besides seeing Shingo in action, we learn that he'll release on January 17, 2023.
That being said, he's not the only fighter showcased today, and we get the release of the second and third fighters coming within the season, Sylvie Paula Paula and Najd. Both were introduced in The King of Fighters XIV, so they're relative newcomers to the roster.
Sylvie will come in the summer and the same goes for Najd, but they won't be the last coming within the season. Two more have been teased, but their identities have not been revealed just yet.
You can take a look at the trailer below.
On January 17 we're also getting a free update that will adjust the gameplay balance for all characters, while the credits roll music for all the fifteen games will be added to the DJ Station.
Incidentally, the game will be featured at EVO Japan 2022, which means it's likely that we'll get some more news then.
The King of Fighters XV is currently available for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. If you're a fan of SNK's fighting game, the popular developer is currently developing a brand new Fatal Fury, also known as Garou Densetsu in Japan. At the moment, the game is mostly shrouded in mystery, but we may hear more at some point soon.
