The King Arthur: Knights Tale update The Chained God is coming in June and will be the first seasonal content update made available. That suggests more is coming, which is good, because I've personally really enjoyed this game so far and so has pretty much everyone else, with a 82% 'Very Positive' score on Steam and 82% on OpenCritic. The King Arthur: Knights Tale update will focus on the main enemy faction of the Knights of the Round Table: The Fomorians, who are described as "the brutal and terrifying giants of Avalon." The King Arthur: Knights Tale update will introduce new gameplay, new items, and also expand the lore, which will hopefully be a lot of fun as you stomp the heroes of the Round Table.
While that's the biggest piece of news from today, NeocoreGames has also revealed that more hotfixes are in the works, which is good because the game didn't launch in a perfect state. Not that it was unplayable or anything, but there's been a patch every few days like clockwork since it's April 26, 2022 release.
There's also a bigger patch that's coming next week that should add some needed tweaks. For instance, players can expect inventory filters for both classes and rarity, which is greatly appreciated. The Training Ground will also be finally cancellable, which is good because sometimes you need a hero to use in a specific mission but uh-oh, they're stuck in the Training Ground for another two missions. Whoops. Items with AP bonus/kill stats might get a nerf, and there's also an issue right now that sometimes a turn can be ended even though other heroes still had APs left to spend. That's definitely being fixed.
