Imagine if you can sit out in your own customized room writing letters to anonymous people, similar to old school penpals. This is exactly what developer and publisher Popcannibal's title exactly is. Kind Words give players the chance to write and receive encouraging letters in their own cozy room. In addition to trading stickers and listening to chill music. The latest update brings new content and reveals a new milestone set by the community.
Officially over a million letters were written and sent between the community, excluding around 300,000 messages players wrote then turned to paper airplanes to fly around their own little rooms. Kind Words' latest update brings new content with it as well, ranging from stickers and a new room to options and features to enhance the overall experience.
There are ten new stickers to use, each with its own new decoration. Not only that, the update brings a new blue room with it as well if you wish to switch colors and match the aesthetic you have in mind. The Inbox section experienced a slight rearrangement, with Kind Words now displaying messages sorted either by newest responses or grouped together by request.
In addition to that, a new options button was added for those interested in messing around with certain graphical options. For now, the available settings allow you to toggle certain features on and off, for example bloom, depth of field, background glitter, and limiting the title to 30 frames-per-second. Kind Words received general performance improvements, with more focus on allowing older PCs to run the title without any issues. Other than that, the development team managed to make Kind Words 27.8MB smaller.
