The PlayStation Plus February 2021 games have been revealed along with a surprise: Japan will be getting Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night as a bonus game.

Every month, Sony releases a handful of free games to its PlayStation Plus subscribers as one of the perks of the service. You pretty much get to keep the game forever as long as your PS Plus subscription is active, so it certainly gives gamers a little something extra to do every month. Next month's games have been announced — and it looks like Japan is getting a bonus.

What Are the PlayStation Plus February 2021 Games?

There will be three PlayStation Plus February 2021 games for Western subscribers; Japan, meanwhile, will be getting a bonus fourth game.

Concrete Genie

Concrete Genie is a super-wholesome game that first launched late last year. Ash has a magic paintbrush that he can use to create friends, and boy does he need them — he's dealing with all sorts of bullying and other problems. Happily, his hometown is in need of a bit of a facelift and he's got the right tools to make it happen.

Control Ultimate Edition

Control Ultimate Edition will let players experience Remedy Entertainment's latest foray into the supernatural along with all of its DLC in one neat package. Jesse Faden finds herself at the Federal Bureau of Control in New York City while searching for her brother; you'll gradually uncover a massive conspiracy while fighting off the otherworldly Hiss. In Japan, only PlayStation 5 owners will get Control Ultimate Edition.

Destruction Allstars

Destruction Allstars might be the most interesting entry in the PlayStation Plus February 2021 games; previously, the game was delayed and pre-orders were refunded to customers. At that time, Sony said the game would be launching in early 2021 — and now we know that it's arriving in early February 2021.

This game is all about a fast-paced destruction derby, kind of like a more colorful Twisted Metal. One of the key differences, however, is that players can also run around on foot if they get dismounted from their vehicle, giving them the opportunity to hop into a new car and get back into the fight.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night (Japan Exclusive)

Finally, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night will be available as an exclusive title in Japan. This "Igavania" game brings a similar style of gameplay as Castlevania: Symphony of the Night to modern systems with an all-new story and a continuous flow of post-launch updates; most recently, it launched "Classic Mode" on January 14, 2021, with a batch of brand-new content for players to enjoy.

And that's it for February 2021! You can get your hands on these upcoming games with a PlayStation Plus membership in 12-month3-month, and 1-month increments; these 3–4 new games will be available for download starting on February 2, 2021.
