Back in 2016 Nicalis published Ittle Dew 2, a Legend of Zelda-styled game developed by Ludosity. Now the game has been delisted after some problems between the two parties.

Announced on Twitter by Ludosity's CEO Joel Nystrom, Ittle Dew 2 has been delisted on all storefronts by publisher Nicalis. According to the tweet, Nicalis had recently learned that Ludosity had chosen to cancel their publishing deal with them 6 months ago. Nicalis had finally responded to the e-mail and agreed to transfer the game back to Ludosity. However, after a few weeks, they were once again not responding to e-mails. Then today Joel discovered that Ittle Dew 2 has just been delisted from all storefronts with no explanation.

Joel notes that the team is currently working on trying to figure out if they can get Nicalis to "de-delist" Ittle Dew 2, or if they have to republish the game on their own. Either way, it seems they're at least working on getting it back in stores. Ludosity most recent game is Slap City, a platform fighter game not much unlike the Super Smash Brother series. Recently they added a single-player campaign mode to the game.

Nicalis is an indie publisher most famous for games like The Binding of Issac and Cave Story+. Recently an article on Kotaku, written by Jason Scherier, saw many developers mentioning having issues working with the publisher, accusing Nicalis of "ghosting" them. Developers on both Furi and Enter the Gungeon said Nicalis agreed to help port their games to different consoles and in both cases suddenly stopped responding to e-mails and vanished, requiring them to find new partners.

Ittle Dew 2 was available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. At the current time, it can not be purchased on any platform.

Did you manage to pick up Ittle Dew 2 before it was delisted? Did you want the game and are you waiting for it to come back? Worried about other games Nicalis has published? Let us know in the comments below!
