An Itch.io bundle for reproductive rights has launched, featuring games, books, and other goodies for a minimum payment of $10. The Worthy of Better, Stronger Together for Reproductive Rights bundle is splitting all of its profits between two reproductive rights charities and features games from indie developers and studios alike.

What's in the new Itch.io bundle for reproductive rights?

On June 24th, the United States Supreme Court voted to overturn Roe v. Wade, a ruling that protected the right to abortion at the federal level. Since Roe v. Wade has been repealed, states can now seek prosecutions for women seeking abortions if they wish, or prosecute abortion clinics simply for operating. In order to support the fight for what it describes as "basic and humane rights", Itch.io has launched a new bundle in support of reproductive rights. The bundle contains 169 items, most of which are games, and you only need to pay $10 to get access to all of them (although you can, of course, increase your donation if you wish).

The new Itch.io bundle offers more than 160 games for a minimum donation of $10, and it's all for a good cause.

Game-wise, you're getting several games from indie horror publisher DreadXP, including "murder RPG" Lakeview Valley, eldritch dating sim Sucker for Love: First Date, and several games from the Dread X Collection. A number of smaller indie titles are also included in the bundle, as well as books like a Paradise Killer art collection and writer Joel Couture's investigation into the ill-fated horror teaser P.T. You'll also find software like the productivity tool Tape and the journaling software JRNL.

Where do the proceeds go for this new Itch.io bundle?

All of the proceeds for the new bundle are split 50/50 between two charities: the National Organization for Women and the Center for Reproductive Rights. Itch.io says that the SCOTUS' decision sets a "dangerous precedent" and that a person's right to pursue safe and legal abortions is "more than enough reason" to put the bundle together and take action. Given Itch.io's previous commitment to good causes like supporting Ukraine and speaking out in favor of racial justice and equality, this new bundle isn't a surprise, but it's certainly welcome.

You can grab the Itch.io Worthy of Better, Stronger Together for Reproductive Rights bundle right here. The bundle is aiming to raise $150,000 for charity, and at time of writing, it's sitting at around $23,000, so your money will go a long way here. We're in total agreement with Itch.io on the subject of reproductive rights and bodily autonomy, so we're in full support of this bundle as well. If you've got a spare $10 lying around, we'd definitely recommend you send it Itch.io's way for this bundle.
