It Looks Like More Deathloop Is On The Way

It looks like we're getting more Deathloop, although we don't know at this point if that'll take the form of DLC, a sequel, or something else exciting.

Are you hankering for some more Deathloop content? Well, it looks like we're getting something. Jason Kelley, the voice of Colt from Deathloop, has accidentally revealed in an interview that he and Ozioma Akagha, the voice of Julianna, are still being hired to help create Deathloop content. You can hear Kelley's blunder at around the 11:03 mark.

Basically, Kelley and Akagha "are still sometimes [being hired] under the codenames" used for Deathloop by Arkane, according to Kelley. After he says this, Kelley almost immediately becomes wide-eyed and says "did I say something that I shouldn't have said?".

Probably, and I bet at that moment that Kelley wished he could've gone back in time to unsay it, but since we're not in Deathloop he can't, which is unfortunate for him and fortunate for us. After all, who doesn't want more games, DLC, or more fun stuff coming from Arkane Studios?

We might be getting some more timey wimey FPS goodness sometime soon.

It does make sense, considering that the game was released over a year ago and we haven't heard much from Deathloop since. Perhaps the game itself is stuck repeating the same day over and over again, but it's more likely that the devs are cooking up something that we'll be able to watch over and over in 2023. Will we get Deathloop 2? It looks like there's a pretty good chance of it, which is nice.

Considering that Deathloop takes place in the same universe as the Dishonored series, we could even be seeing something from both universes at the same time sooner rather than later, which would be interesting. Will we? Well, who knows. It's certainly been long enough since we've received any Dishonored content, so perhaps Arkane is preparing for something big besides Redfall, which should be coming out sometime in the next six months.
