Inti Ceates has announced that they have some big reveals for this year’s BitSummit. Among the exciting news will be a reveal of DLC for the game Blaster Master Zero. The studio will also be announcing two new games they are working on.
Inti Creates (Mega Man Zero, Gal*Gun Double Peace, Mighty Gunvolt) will be one of many game developers at the BitSummit in Kyoto this year. The festival is one of the largest independent gaming events in Japan and will be held at the Miyako Messe. Taking place on May 20th-21st the event will be the 5th so far where game makers will show off their projects and make big reveals. Inti Creates will be revealing some big news about their studio’s upcoming work.
Their action adventure game Blaster Master Zero released on the Nintendo 3DS and Switch March 9, 2017, in North America and Europe. Plans for downloadable content for Blaster Master Zero are in the works and the developers will be divulging more information about it at next month's BitSummit. Fans of the game should keep an eye on the indie festival for more details about Blaster Master Zero DLC.
As to the larger news about two new titles from Inti Creates, we can only guess. The company has developed many games for Nintendo platforms with their most recent coming to the Switch. While there isn’t any further information on what the two new projects are, Switch players can hope that they will be available for the new console.
The Japanese indie developers got their start in May of 1996 when their founding members left Capcom to pursue their own projects. They’ve since made a lot of games, many drawing on classic retro gameplay and aesthetics. Now they will be adding two more to their body of work but we’ll have to wait until BitSummit to find out what exactly they are.
