Inkulinati might be one of the more interesting games that releases this year on Early Access. Basically, it's a turn-based strategy that has players taking control of the Inkulinati, who has a power called Living Ink that can bring illustrations to life. It's definitely weird, but it's also a concept that's so out there that it might just work. Let's take a look at it, shall we?
What else can I expect from Inkulinati?
Players will take the fight to 2D battlefields that take place in medieval books, battling against creatures controlled by a rival Inkulinati. In order to win, players will have to collect more Living Ink and see what drawn compositions of their own they can utilize against their foe.
Players will use their teams to beat their opponents, which will include "medieval superstars" like Death and Dante Alighieri. Players can also use their powers to intervene in the battles by squashing the enemy with their fists, drawing obstacles, or moving their troops from one side of the map to the other. It sounds unfair, but hey, all's fair in love and drawn war.

For those of you who are interested in this ink-based strategy title, it will be releasing on Steam Early Access and Microsoft's Xbox Game Preview sometime this winter. If you're looking for other turn-based strategy games to enjoy in the meantime, maybe you might want to go on a Roman expedition (with added RPG flavor) or have robots beat the crap out of each other? There are many more quality titles in the genre, but those should get you started.
