Superman's regime has fallen and the victors struggle to keep together what's left of the society. Even if Batman and his pals managed to defeat the Kryptonian demigod, there's still much to be done, starting with dealing with the ones that want to put Superman back in power. But a new menace appears from space. This, in few words, is the synthesis of Injustice 2's latest cinematic trailer, titled "The Lines are Redrawn".
Warner Bros. and Netherrealm also announced the preorder DLC for Injustice 2 as well as the two Special Editions for the game. Apparently, pre-ordering Injustice 2 will allow you to fight as Darkseid as a playable character. This DLC is not present in any of the currently announced Special Editions, so pre-ordering the game is apparently the only way to play as the Lord of Apokolips.
The two special editions will both contain DLC characters, premiere skins and shader packs. They are detailed as follows:
Digital Deluxe EditionAs the release date of Injustice 2 gets close, Warner Bros puts out more details on the game, directly or less so. For example, we don't have the full roster yet, but in the video we see glimpses of some characters that can only be Bane, Poison Ivy, Damian Wayne and Brainiac. This surely is something fans of DC are looking forward to.
- Three DLC fighters
- One Premier Skin (Power Girl skin dor Super Girl) with new aspect, voice and dialogue.
- Defender Shader Pack
- Nine DLC fighters
- Three Premier Skins (Flash, Green Lanter, and Supergirl)
- Destroyer and Defender Shader Packs
Injustice 2 is scheduled to come out on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One May 16th.
