IndieBox, one of several companies in the business of staving off our all-digital future, is a company that puts together collectors editions of various digital games. Their original business model was similar to LootCrate, but they've since expanded to several other methods of production. That expansion has continued, as IndieBox has announced a partnership with GameStop to bring ten new games to retail this November. Published through GameStop's GameTrust division (who you may know as the people who published Insomniac's Song of the Deep earlier this year), each title in the GameTrust Collection will receive the full Collector's Edition treatment.

In addition to a DRM-Free disc copy of the game encased in a full art steelbook, each release will include a full-color manual, a soundtrack CD, and an art print that contains a Steam key. For the goodies and the two copies of the game that you get, you're going to be paying $19.99. So, what titles can you get? Well here is the full list of games in the first wave of the GameTrust collection:

You'll be able to pick up these games in around 1,200 GameStop locations nationwide, or (since this is GameStop we're talking about) you can already preorder them (Affiliate) online. The games are known quantities unlike most pre-orders, and orders may impact how many GameStop stocks. The collection is only available to GameStop customers in the United States.

Quick Take

It's no secret that I'm a fan of IndieBox. We're both native to the Sunshine State, and I've seen them grow in the past two years from a small company into a force in the industry that is seemingly involved with every other Kickstarter that I look at. I'm pumped to see their releases hitting the big time at an outlet like GameStop, and their selection of releases this time around is pretty solid. Anything that allows these digital only games to survive decades into the future is a worthy cause in my book.

Are you looking to pick up any of the GameTrust Collection? Have you ever subscribed to IndieBox's subscription service? What games would you like to see get a big box release in the future? Let us know in the comments below!
