The Killsquad Early Access release date has been announced by the developers. This upcoming hardcore action role-playing game made a splash on the E3 2019 show floor and now we know when we'll be able to get our hands on the game proper: Killsquad arrives on Steam on July 16, 2019, according to a press release from the developer.

In Killsquad, players will embark on short missions featuring procedurally-generated levels. Whether you're playing by yourself or in co-op with your friends, you'll be able to enjoy a variety of different classes and randomized loot — exactly the sort of thing you'd want to see in an ARPG. Unique to this game is something called the "live contract" system which makes it super easy for people to hop into your game and score a share of the loot by helping out.

"We are extremely pleased with the reception Killsquad got from everyone at E3, which proves that we’re onto a great concept. The Early Access build is the first time we're going to open the doors into the Killsquad universe. Though only a sample of what we have in mind, our Early Access version will have everything from smooth controls, action-packed gameplay to plenty of content to keep RPG fans coming back for more. We are looking forward to working with our community on shaping it into a truly great co-op action game." —Novarama Game Director Dani Sanchez-Crespo
