The Hunt 4

Another week of the Hunt. For those who are being introduced to the segment for the first time, The Hunt takes all the games that the member of the TechRaptor staff played during the week and condenses them into minute segments. In those segments, we give the first impressions of the game, whether it's worth your time, and the strengths/weaknesses of the game. In addition, we take a look at the upcoming games of the week, to show what could be covered on the next segment of the series.

In this weeks episode, we take a look at possibly one of the breakout hits of the year, in addition to a couple of games that should never have made it to Steam in the first place. Seriously, the amount of games that absolutely sucked this week was higher then normal, but the Darkest Dungeon looks even better because of it. But it's not the only reasonable game that came out this week.

For those who want to be taken back to the NES era, an 8-bit nostalgia trip by the artist of Binding of Isaac which is challenging to say the least, even though at times the challenge can seem a little bit unfair. We take a look at the first DLC content on the Hunt, as a week before the release of Majora's Mask for the 3DS, Hyrule Warriors adds some new content that actually should be taken a look at.And of course, this week includes a story about a time bending high school girl who uses it to cheat in school and to make friends. I mean, let's be honest, wouldn't you? And finally, we show some potential in an early access game that uses a class choosing mechanic that may make for an interesting chess match between friends.

Have I mentioned how good Darkest Dungeon is? It's most definitely the T-Rex level kill this week, and for an additional video, here's a specialized video on it.

So do any games on this week's The Hunt look interesting to you? Have you questioned why you haven't picked up Darkest Dungeon yet? Are you amazed that there are still that many bad games being released to Steam lately? Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to play more Darkest Dungeon. Because it's the equivalent to crack cocaine in video game form.
