Humble recently announced that they'll be changing up their monthly format, but now we know when that will be. On December 6th, 2019, Humble Monthly will cease to be and be replaced by Humble Choice.

This new service will be broken down into several tiers. The idea is that, instead of paying monthly and getting a batch of mystery games at the end of the month, you'll now pay monthly and choose exactly what games you want from a setlist at the start of the month. Of course, this does come with an increase in price. Humble Monthly cost $12.99, but Humble Choice will start at $14.99 to chose three games. The tiers are as follows:

  • $4.99 a month for access to Humble Trove and a 10% Humble Store discount
  • $14.99 a month to choose 3 games from the monthly list, get Humble Trove access, and a 10% Humble Store discount
  • $19.99 a month to choose 9 games from the monthly list, get Humble Trove access, and a 20% Humble store discount

If you're already subscribed to Humble Monthly then you can keep your subscription. It'll work mostly the same as the $19.99 version of Humble Choice, only you can chose 10 games instead of 9. However, if you cancel your subscription at any point then you can never get this tier again, and you have to pick one of the three above.

While Humble Choice will be launching on December 6th, you still have a chance to grab the current Humble Monthly bundle. You'll get access to Soulcalibur VI, Yakuza Kiwama, and My Time at Portia right away, with more games to follow.

How do you feel about Humble Choice? Going to subscribe to the service? Hanging onto your Humble Monthly classic subscription? Let us know in the comments below!
