April Fool's is nearly upon us and game devs are already getting silly — the House Flipper On the Moon Update is here to brighten up your home renovating experience.

You might have refurbished all kinds of different domiciles in your time with House Flipper, but I'd bet that all of those have been on our lovely little planet Earth. Now, you can go to the moon in this silly new April Fool's update that's being released free to all players!

What's New in the House Flipper On the Moon Update?

So, what new stuff is coming in the On The Moon Update? The list of new features is short but sweet. To start, you can travel to the moon by way of the brand-new Hypertruck, a silly minivan that looks suspiciously Tesla-esque.

Once you're up there on Luna, you can make a stylish new home with some futuristic additions. Doors 2.0 enhances your aperture experience with sliding and superfluous glowing bits (because everything glows in the future).

Of course, one might be concerned about plants — how can they grow with no atmosphere? The devs have that covered, too: the Hydro-Pod 4-20 takes care of light, water, and the necessary gases in a self-contained, problem-free pod.

These silly new April Fool's additions aren't the only new content coming, mind. A whole bunch of new objects are being added to the base game, including:

  • Electrical installation elements
  • Desks
  • Cabinets
  • Tinkerer tools
  • Indoor plants
  • Floor coverings
  • Lighting
  • Chairs
  • Clocks
  • Aquarium
  • "Hello There"
  • Books
  • Mirrors

Some other changes and fixes have also made their way into the game; you can read about them all in the most recent patch notes for House Flipper. If you don't yet already own the game, you can buy it on Steam, the Humble Store, or DRM-free on GOG at the price of $19.99 or your regional equivalent.

Disclosure: Humble Bundle & GOG work with TechRaptor for affiliate partnership. TechRaptor earns a small commission off purchases made from some links in this article.

I've had a controller in my hand since I was 4 and I haven't stopped gaming since. CCGs, Tabletop Games, Pen & Paper RPGs - I've tried a whole bunch of stuff over the years and I'm always looking to try more!
