Sony has been dipping its toes into PC gaming lightly, with the most significant offering coming from them giving PC owners a taste of their biggest new IP of the last generation Horizon Zero Dawn. Billed the Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition For PC, this version comes with the base game and the Frozen Wilds expansion as well as a wealth of PC customization options.
Some of the most notable features that Horizon Zero Dawn will have on PC are as follows:
- Unlocked Framerates
- Ultra-Wide Support
- Rebindable Keys
- Benchmarking Tool
There's going to be more as you'd expect from a PC port as well. Graphical options are there (and with a number of options), there will be dynamic foliage to make the most of that beast of a machine you have, and improved reflections will let your PC show off water far better than any mere PlayStation could. When is Horizon Zero Dawn PC Release Date?
The biggest news today though is that we can move away from a 'summer' release date for Horizon Zero Dawn on PC, and instead know when we'll be able to go take on robot dinosaurs as Aloy on PC. Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition for PC releases on Steam and the Epic Games Store on August 7th, 2020 for the price of $49.99 and can be preordered now.
Horizon Zero Dawn is one of the more intriguing titles of the last generation, and as someone who primarily plays on PC, I'm happy to see it coming to my platform. Hopefully, it turns out to be a success, and Sony brings more games to the PC in the future, even with significant delays like we are seeing with Horizon.
