Today, following a delay of a few hours due to "technical reasons," developer HoYoverse revealed update 1.1 of its popular RPG Honkai: Star Rail.
The update is titled "Galactic Roaming" and is coming on June 7, 2023.
It'll also feature three new characters, Stellaron hunter Silver Wolf (a five-star Quantum Nihility character), Luocha (a five-star Imaginary Abundance character), and Yukong (a four-star Imaginary Harmony character), on top of additions to all the areas already available in the game.
Silver Wolf and Luocha are also getting their own five-star Light Cones. The first Event Warp titled Contract Zero will feature Silver Wolf on top of Dan Heng, Asta, and best girl Serval. It'll start at the same time as the update and end on June 28.
The second Event Warp will be titled Laic Pursuit and will be available between June 28 and July 18. It will feature Luocha, Yukong, Qingque, and Pela.
Moving on to special events, we're getting Starhunt Game (available from the launch of the update until June 19), Everwinter City Museum Ledger of Curiosity (from June 8 to June 26), Stellar Flare (from June 28 to July 10), Garden of Plenty (from July 10 to July 17), and Lab Assistants in Position (from June 18 to July 3).
New companion missions will be added for Silver Wolf, Luocha, Yanqing, and Bailu. More updates include the random appearance of Trotters during battle to get some additional leveling materials, a friend chat function, and more.
We're also getting 10 free Special Warp Passes as part of a daily login event titled Gift of Odyssey. Honkai: Star Rail is a turn-based RPG that can be played for free in single-player mode. It's available for PC through a standalone client and the Epic Games Store, as well as on iOS and Android devices. Although the developers have announced that they are working on ports for PlayStation platforms, no specific release date has been announced just yet. Today's press release does mention that more information is coming soon.
