Hoyoverse has released a Honkai: Star Rail launch trailer to mark the game's upcoming launch. The studio's latest free-to-play RPG launches across PC and mobile devices tomorrow, and to mark the occasion, a brand new trailer with some gorgeous artwork has arrived, giving you something to feast your eyes on before you play.
Honkai: Star Rail pre-downloads began a couple of days ago, and now, Hoyoverse is continuing to build the hype with this latest trailer. It's a cinematic trailer, so you won't see any moment-to-moment gameplay, but it's soundtracked by a snazzy, slinky song with plenty of panache, and it shows off some of the game's distinctive-looking anime characters. Take a look at the Honkai: Star Rail trailer right here.
As you'll see, the trailer serves more as an introduction to the world of Honkai: Star Rail than anything else. It shows off characters we've already seen, like the Trailblazer, March 7th (yes, that's her real name), and Himeko, as well as a few people we're yet to meet. It's a classic anime-style intro sequence for the game, and it should get you hyped, especially if you're already looking forward to the game.
If you've missed out on the Honkai: Star Rail buzz, allow me to bring you up to speed. It's the latest free-to-play RPG from Genshin Impact creator Hoyoverse, and it's coming to PC and mobile devices tomorrow, with a release for PlayStation consoles also on the cards for the future.
Unlike Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail is a turn-based RPG, but just like its sibling, you'll put together a team of four characters to explore the world and delve into dungeons. The game takes place in the same world as Honkai Impact 3rd, although the story unfolds in a parallel universe, so you might not meet too many characters or visit too many locations from that game.
Honkai: Star Rail arrives tomorrow, and you'll be able to download it for free on PC, Android, and iOS. Stay tuned for more on this latest Hoyoverse game, as well as all other things Hoyoverse.
