The first major update for Hokko Life is their recently released farming update, which includes a new farming area, dozens of crops to grow, and crafting recipes that can be created. More major updates are on the way during the game's Early Access period, which include super shopping, mayor merits, village chic, bug bonaza, and desert island distractions.
As for the rest of the update, requests now factor in the season and availability of resources, fixed refreshing of item amounts in the design tool, and there's an added "Path" blueprint for flat objects you can walk on. There are fixes for players becoming stuck if they cancel movement of a mine lantern, and mine lantern lights were too big and caused performance problems. Mine lanterns are apparently a big problem, who knew?
Storage items and blueprints have also been added to the game, there's a whole bunch of other minor fixes, including Hanging Lights' icon being fixed, and the Redwood Tree not giving out the correct wood or dropping any seeds.

If you'd like to check out Hokko Life, it's on Steam and available for $19.99. Since it's June 2, 2021 release there's been about two patches a week, and for Wonderscope--which is described as primarily a one-person studio--that's a really decent update pace.
