Today Warner Bros. Games released an extensive update for its ultra-successful open-world game Hogwarts Legacy.
The update has been released on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5, and It comes with a vast variety of fixes, including the much-anticipated one that will let players get around the nasty bug that prevented them from completing the "Take the Biscuit" quest.
On top of the fixes, the patch notes also list many improvements in the fields of performance and stability, which were among the biggest complaints about the game, especially for players on PC. You can read the full list of improvements on the official website.
Hogwarts Legacy has sold over 12 million units and is set in the Wizarding World universe and based on the Harry Potter franchise, but the story happens a long time before the books that have made it famous. Specifically, you play as a transfer student in the 1890s, which is a rather unique perspective on the history of Hogwarts. Players will be able to join one of the iconic houses within the school as they investigate the mysteries of the ancient institution, making friends, and most likely enemies in the process.
The game is already available for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, while gamers on PS4 and Xbox One will have to wait until May 5 following a recent delay followed by a second. Those who want to play on Nintendo Switch will have to wait the longest, with the release date on the hybrid console set for July 25, 2023.
