While the first season for Io Interactive's assassination simulator has officially been concluded (find the full season 1 review here) with the release of the 5th and final episode set in Hokkaido, Japan, this does not mean that there won't be some content to bridge the gap between the first and second season. It's time to deck the halls, polish your guns and put on your most festive three-piece suit because you're going back to Paris!

We are very excited to reveal a brand new mission that is coming to HITMAN on December 13th, just in time for the holiday season! "Holiday Hoarders" is a free mission for ALL players that takes place in a festive Paris, which has been overhauled with Christmas trees, snow, decorations and presents.Your mission is to track down 2 thieves that have managed to infiltrate the Parisian fashion show and are now relieving the premises of all the Christmas presents. It is your job to identify and kill the two thieves before they steal all the presents. It's possible to find the hidden presents before they can get to it and you are encouraged to use the contents of these presents to spread some love, unity, and murder to the city of lights. In addition to the new mission, you'll also find some new (Christmas) themed challenges for you to complete.
The mission will be released in support of World Cancer Research Fund and we are asking players to donate whatever they can via www.wcrf-uk.org/hitman. It's important for us to say that a donation is not required to enjoy the Holiday Hoarders mission and that all contributions of any amount are appreciated.But wait, there's more! This mission is but the first in a series of content updates coming to HITMAN this December. Io Interactive have 4 weeks of content lined up for you to help you through the darkest of months.
While there are no details on the challenges coming in the last 3 weeks of December, the first week of challenges will get you a Jaeger Covert sniper rifle for use in other missions. As you can see on the schedule above, players will be able to take down 3 new elusive targets in addition to the new challenges.
