EA Play

Publisher and development studio Electronic Arts is the latest in an increasingly long line of major names in the games industry deciding to hold their own event instead of appearing on the E3 show floor.

This event, starting on the 12th of June and titled EA Play, will be held at 2 locations. One in the English capital of London, the other in E3 hometown Los Angeles. This event will feature a variety of gaming-related presentations and play opportunities. Some of these are open to the public, others will only be open to the press. People at home will also be able to watch along via a live stream on If you plan on watching the livestream you will also gain access to exclusive behind-the-scenes material.

Following the first press-only event, people attending the event will be given the chance to play demos of some of EA's upcoming games before anyone else. The upcoming Titanfall 2 will make its debut at this event, amongst other as of yet unannounced titles including, but not limited to, three upcoming EA Sports titles. It stands to reason that the upcoming Mass Effect: Andromeda will also make its way to the event in some form. During the event you will be able to meet the development teams, ask questions, and take part in live events and competitions.

I've been playing games since I was just barely able to walk so I might as well write about them.
