Achievements on the Xbox have been a staple of the franchise since the launch of the Xbox 360, with 1000 Gamer Score given to each game. With the inclusion of Xbox Live Arcade titles each of them got a cap of 200 Gamer Score at launch and in the past couple of years that has been bumped up to 400 and for the Xbox One it's now 1000. Add on DLC to the mix and you have games reaching upwards of 1,600 Gamer Score. Now Halo: The Master Chief Collection has absolutely shattered the record of "Most Gamer Score" and "Most Achievements".

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is a collection of all four of the main series of Halo games; Halo: Anniversary Edition, Halo 2: Anniversary Edition, Halo 3 and Halo 4. The game boasts a user interface that allows the users to play any level from any of the games through a single menu, also added is every single multiplayer map. Previously it was announced that Halo: The Master Chief Collection would contain 400 achievements and would have an impressive 4000 Gamer Score that would include global achievements, that would require you to fulfill requirements from across all of the games, as well as specific game achievements that can only be completed in single games. This week 343 Industries has announced that on day 1 of the release of Halo: The Master Chief Collection an additional 50 achievements would be added to the game that will bring players another 500 Gamer Score to attain.
