Halo Infinite Co-Op

Since Halo Infinite is the latest entry in the series, it's still changing with a new option being added soon. The first-person shooter will be testing out its new co-op mechanics with a beta that will be going live in July. This is being done to prepare players for the new Network Campaign Co-op which is scheduled to release later this year.

The Halo Infinite Co-Op Beta

343 Industries launched Halo Infinite late in 2021. Though it maintains many of the elements of previous games, it added new features and mechanics to modernize. However, even though co-op features have been in previous games, Halo Infinite hasn't included it until now. Starting on July 11th, players will be able to try out the new Halo Infinite co-op feature during a beta that will last until July 22nd. During this period, players will be able to play through the main campaign together and test the gameplay. In order to have a better chance of getting into the beta, players are encouraged to become a Halo Insider by registering for the program by July 5th. Those playing on Xbox can join the Xbox Insider Program through Game Pass.

The Halo games have followed an epic sci-fi conflict that continues in Halo Infinite. In the far future, humans are still alive but are fighting for their lives against the alien coalition known as the Covenant. As the genetically-engineered super-soldier Master Chief, you must descend onto the planet-sized artificial ring, Zeta Halo to take the conflict to the enemy. It's a first-person shooter that's very combat-oriented, but this entry has expanded on exploration with a semi-open world for players to enjoy. Master Chief has also been upgraded with new abilities for navigation, collection, and combat. In addition to the paid campaign, players can join the free-to-play multiplayer to compete and rank up through the season.

Though Halo Infinite has done well for solo play, 343 Industries development of co-op shows that they're trying to expand the player base. Those who wish to try it should sign up for one of the Insider Programs for a better chance of getting into the co-op beta which starts on July 11th.
