The multiplayer tech test flight for Halo Infinite seems to include a complete campaign leak. Information for the upcoming shooter's storyline was accidentally included in the public tech test in the form of a series of campaign objectives and narrative flavor text.
What's in this Halo Infinite campaign leak?
You can find everything in the Halo Infinite campaign leak out there in the wild if you look hard enough. Naturally, it contains a lot of very big spoilers for Halo Infinite, so don't go hunting if you don't want to know anything. It's presented as a series of player objectives and tooltips, so it's somewhat disjointed. The narrative sequence also appears to be missing key elements; around halfway through, there's a "lorem ipsum" passage that seems to be acting as a placeholder for text that hasn't been written yet. All in all, this probably isn't the way to experience the Halo Infinite campaign, but if you're hungry for details, there's a whole lot there to chow down on.

How has 343 Industries responded to the Halo Infinite campaign leak?
Obviously, 343 Industries doesn't want you to engage with this leak at all. Creative head Joseph Staten says leaks like this can "ruin the campaign experience for everyone", so you shouldn't spread them if you encounter them. 343 community director Brian Jarrard, meanwhile, encourages players not to post datamined content to their channels, as it could result in a DMCA takedown depending on where you post to. Jarrard says if you've already posted datamined stuff on your channel, you should remove it "proactively". Yikes. Looks like this Halo Infinite campaign leak might not be around for much longer.
Unfortunately, we don't yet have a concrete release date for Halo Infinite. The latest chapter in the Halo saga is currently slated for release sometime this fall, with a November release date previously being suggested by a voice actor involved with the game. 343 Industries and Microsoft are remaining quiet, but the fact the game is entering its tech test phase is promising. We'll bring you more on this as soon as we get it.
